Day of the race
Sunday May 13 2012.

Start and finish
The race starts at 11 am for both boys and girls in all age groups (14-19 years old) below Bragebacken next to Margretebergsgatan. The finish is inside the athletic arena, Slottskogsvallen.

Late entrance/registration on raceweekend

Best in show
Take the chance to do something fun together with your schoolclass or your team! We have a prize of 5000 SEK, for "Best in show", for the team that has the coolest costumes or attracts attention and spreads joy.

Information
All runners will recieve a mail in the end of April/beginning of May with all necessary information about the race. You can also find useful information about the competition here at GöteborgsVarvets website.

Bib
You can get your bib in Frölundaborg on May 10-13. We recommend all runners to get the bib in good time before the race starts.

Prizes
All who runs gets a medal and a bag of information or products from different partners. You can also win prizes on your startingnumber. The winning numbers will be published on newsbills around the start/finish area and are distributed in the information tent between the start and finish.

Diploma
All runners will recieve a diploma in the post with the mail a few weeks after the race.

Classes, course lengths and start groups
Boys and girls born -94-97 (17-17 years) are welcome to run Mellan GöteborgsVarvet. The track runs along a 5,1 km long inspiring loop in Slottsskogen.

Photo memory
MarathonFoto will take pictures of all runners in the race. It is also possible to take group pictures in the start/finish area. A few days after the race, you can search and order images via www.marathonfoto.com.

Warming up and entertainment
SATS will help everybody to warm up before the race.There will be activities, music and sales of food and drinks in the start and finish area and along to the course.

GöteborgsVarvets Expo Sport & Health
The Expo will be open May 10-13 and is located in Friidrottens Hus. There are many interesting exhibitors from various industries with products related to running and health; clothing, shoes, food supplements, sports magazines, other organizers etc.

Organizer
Organizer of the GöteborgsVarvet Half Marathon races is Göteborgs Friidrottsförbund / Göteborg Athletic Association. All the surplus goes straight back to new youth activities within the clubs and the management of Friidrottens Hus / the athletic indoor arena.
