San Miguel de Allende, Perth – and then Gothenburg are the world’s three most friendly cities, according to the Condé Nast Traveler travel magazine.
It is in a list that Condé Nast Traveler magazine presents 15 friendly cities around the world. The magazine covers lifestyles and travels around the world, through the years they have taken home as much as 25 awards for their travel portraits.
First on the list comes San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, followed by Perth, Australia. In third place, Gothenburg suddenly appears with description as “excellent Swedish coffee” – which, according to the travel magazine, is available in some places for free.
Something else that makes Gothenburg shine should be ”Paddan’s” boat trip and people’s generosity. According to the magazine’s readers, Gothenburg’s beauty should also be “unmatched” and the city is considered child-friendly: “There are everything from theme parks to aquariums, but just visiting shopping centers is a joy for the little ones”, it says.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, hundreds of thousands participated in this year’s survey – and when the fifteen cities were summed up, Gothenburg entered third place.
