When and where can I find my starting wave?

Your starting wave will be shown in your start certificate, which will be sent to the email address provided in your registration approximately 1–2 weeks before race day.

The starting field can only be seeded once all Varvetmilen 2027 races have been completed.

Your starting wave is based on results from races organised by Göteborgsvarvet. You can find a list of the races that qualify for seeding for Göteborgsvarvet 2027 via the link below.

Your starting wave may also be based on a result from an externally sanctioned race that you have registered with your entry, provided it meets our qualifying criteria. Information about eligible races and qualifying times is available via the link below.

Your starting wave may also be based on the following:

  • Varvet Veteran (30 or more Göteborgsvarvet finishes).
  • Allåring (completed every Göteborgsvarvet since 1980).
