Göteborgsvarvet Expo 2026 is the meeting place where the starting shot for the world’s largest half marathon is fired.

Thursday May 21: 11:00–20:00
Friday May 22: 10:00–21:00
Saturday May 23: 09:30–15:30

Collect your race bib

Göteborgsvarvet Expo is where you, as a runner, will also collect your race bib. We recommend picking up your bib during the daytime on Thursday, May 21 or Friday, May 22 to avoid queues.

If you collect your bib on Saturday, we recommend doing so well in advance of your start time.

  • Yes, visiting Göteborgsvarvet Expo is free of charge.

  • No, not inside the Expo itself, but light refreshments and snacks are available at Varvstorget just outside the Expo. If you’re looking for more substantial food, you can visit the Food Court.

  • Yes, the Expo is accessible for everyone.

  • Unfortunately, there are no parking facilities in connection with the Expo. Large crowds are expected in the area during these days, so please allow extra time when visiting the Expo.

  • How to get here

    Göteborgsvarvet Expo is located in the heart of the start and finish area, at Friidrottens Hus.

    The best way to get to Göteborgsvarvet Expo is by public transport, bike, or on foot.

    The area around Göteborgsvarvet Expo will have very limited access for cars due to the large number of visitors expected. Unfortunately, there is no parking available in the immediate vicinity of Friidrottens Hus.
