The race filled with running, joy, play, and adventure. A 210-meter challenge for the very youngest!
Minivarvet:The race for the youngest
Minivarvet is Sweden's largest children's race and since its start, thousands and thousands again of small children have run Minivarvet. Many kids are satisfied with one lap, while others run the course several times. Minivarvet is charged with running, joy, play and adventure. With this race, we want to encourage an active life from when the children are young.
Minivarvet is for children born in 2020 or later (the year the child turns 6 years old.) Register online today or in the event area at the race day! Together, we create memories for life.
You will find the Minivarvet event area just below Björngårdsvillan in Slottsskogen. See you in 2026, May 23-24!
The course:210 meters in Slottsskogen
The Minivarvet course is approximately 210 meters long, runs on grass, and is marked on both sides to create safety. For the very youngest, Minivarvet is their first big adventure. Of course, it is allowed for you as a parent to run alongside them, if you can keep up with their pace.
Registration for Minivarvet also includes Minivarvet Trail – an early adventure for the youngest participants, where they take on a slightly more hilly course in the family area. Our mini sprinters can run as many laps as their legs will carry them on both courses.
