Get your friends or colleagues together and register your team for Stafettvarvet on 19 May 2027! Stafettvarvet offers a magical atmosphere filled with excitement before, during and after the race.
The course is 3.1 kilometres long, and all four runners in the team run the same distance.
Registration is per team. Each team consists of four runners, but only the team captain’s details are required when registering.

Stafettvarvet has become a real favourite among companies, and it’s easy to see why. Get your colleagues together for some team building, a fun after-work activity or invite your company’s clients. Cheer each other on, mingle, share the experience and enjoy a picnic together after crossing the finish line.
Register one or more teams from your company and pay by invoice. Registration is per team, and each team consists of four runners. Only the team captain is registered during registration.

Each team registration includes a picnic bag for you to enjoy together after crossing the finish line.
Take a seat and enjoy a cozy picnic with colleagues and friends. This year’s delicious picnic is provided by Carotte and includes:

Course map:3.1 fast kilometres around Slottsskogen
The 3.1 km course takes you through beautiful Slottsskogen before leading back through the entrance park at Slottsskogsvallen. There, your teammates will be waiting, ready to cheer you on for the final stretch towards the relay exchange and finish at Slottsskogsvallen!
After crossing the finish line, it’s time to celebrate. Sit down together, enjoy your achievement and the delicious picnic included with your registration.

Find your way around the event area!
The relay baton, race bibs and picnic bag are collected in the entrance park outside Slottsskogsvallen.
The start, relay exchange and finish all take place inside Slottsskogsvallen. At the relay exchange, pass the baton over the exchange barrier to the next runner on your team. The barrier is divided into zones based on race bib numbers to make it easy to find the right place – choose the zone that matches your team’s race bib number.

The start:Starting waves
The race starts at 18:00 and uses self-seeding. This means that runners who want to run at a fast pace should position themselves towards the front of the starting field. Volunteers will be on hand to guide runners to the right place.
Runners 1 and 2 (green and purple race bibs) can enter the start area between 17:00 and 18:00.
Runners 3 and 4 (blue and yellow race bibs) can enter the start area at approximately 18:10, once all starting runners have left the start area.

The coloured race bibs make it easier for both runners and volunteers to make sure everyone is in the right place when entering the start area.

Stafettvarvet corporate village:Book a tent
In the entrance park outside Slottsskogsvallen, close to the Stafettvarvet start and finish, you can book a tent in one of our corporate villages.
Bring your runners together before, during and after Stafettvarvet, support each other and cheer on your fellow runners from a prime spot. After the race, enjoy a well-deserved after-run together with your team.
Please note that setting up your own tent in the event area is not permitted.
Tent bookings for Stafettvarvet 2027 will open at a later date.

Registration
Registration is open until 17:00 on race day, unless the race sells out earlier. All registrations must be completed via the website.

Start certificate
The start certificate will be sent approximately one week before the race to the email address provided by the team captain during registration. It contains all the information you need for the event.

The team
Get a team of 4 runners together and register in the women’s, men’s or mixed category (with at least one runner of the opposite sex). Only the team captain’s contact details are required when registering.
Each team member runs 3.1 km, with times recorded both individually and for the team as a whole. We recommend that participants are over 15 years old.
If a team member gets sick, one of the other team members can run two legs. The important thing is that the team completes all four legs in order to receive a finishing time.

Bib distribution & picnic bag
Race bibs and the relay baton can be collected in the entrance park between 15:30 and 17:30. Please arrive in good time and remember to bring your start certificate!
Registration for Stafettvarvet includes one picnic bag per team. It can be collected in the entrance park together with the race bibs and relay baton before the start. The picnic is perfect to enjoy together outside the arena area after the race.

Start & event area
The start, relay exchange and finish all take place inside Slottsskogsvallen. The first starting wave starts at 18:00. More information about the start can be found further up the page.
There will be entertainment in the start and finish areas, as well as along the course.

Toilets, changing facilities & bag drop
We recommend arriving changed and ready for the race, as there are no shower or changing facilities available. The organiser does not provide bag drop.
Toilets are located mainly near Slottsskogsvallen, with a smaller number available at Dalens Idrottsplan.

Timing & baton
The timing chip is located in the relay baton, which should be rolled up as instructed. Timing starts when the first runner crosses the start line and ends when the final runner crosses the finish line. Times are recorded for each leg as well as for the team as a whole.
Hold the relay baton at hip height when crossing the timing mat to ensure that the time is recorded correctly.

Getting here
We recommend travelling to Stafettvarvet by public transport. The nearest stops are Botaniska Trädgården and Marklandsgatan. Plan your journey using the Västtrafik To Go app or at vasttrafik.se.
There is no parking available near the event area. If you choose to travel by car, expect traffic congestion and very limited parking options.

Warmup
A group warm-up will take place at the start, led by instructors from STC.

Time limit
The finish closes at 20:00.

Prize Ceremony
The prize ceremony takes place inside Slottsskogsvallen, with prizes awarded to the fastest team in each category: women’s, men’s and mixed. A prize will also be awarded for the best costume.

Customer service
Customer Service will be available at the Information centre in the entrance park from 15:00.
