Terms and conditions for the Göteborgsvarvet waiting list
1. GENERAL
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply between you and Göteborgs Friidrottsförbund when you use the waiting list for Göteborgsvarvet, organised by Göteborgs Friidrottsförbund (the “Waiting List”), either as a seller or a buyer of an entry. The terms “Göteborgs Friidrottsförbund”, “we”, “our”, “us” and similar references refer to Göteborgs Friidrottsförbund, registration number 857202-2799, Box 12174, SE-402 42 Gothenburg, Sweden.
2. WAITING LIST FOR GÖTEBORGSVARVET
General Information About the Waiting List
The Waiting List is a system that enables individuals who register for the Waiting List to purchase an entry to Göteborgsvarvet from runners who are already registered and wish to sell their entry. Registration for the Waiting List is made via our website, www.goteborgsvarvet.se (the “Website”), where you will also find information regarding available options, prices and payment methods. These Terms are always available on the Website. We reserve the right for any typographical or printing errors.
Sales through the Waiting List apply only to the entry itself. Any add-ons, such as diplomas or other extras, cannot be transferred to the buyer.
Selling an Entry Through the Waiting List
A runner wishing to sell their entry through the Waiting List must log in to their personal dashboard on the Website and cancel their entry. Detailed instructions for cancelling an entry are available on the personal dashboard. The entry will then become available to buyers who have registered for the Waiting List. The seller will only receive a refund once the entry has been purchased by a buyer registered on the Waiting List.
Once the seller has been matched with a buyer through the Waiting List, the seller will receive a refund of the amount paid for the entry, less an administrative fee of 10% of the purchase price. The seller will therefore receive 90% of the amount paid for the entry as a refund.
The option to sell an entry through the Waiting List is available until and including 31 March.
An entry that has been cancelled and made available to buyers through the Waiting List cannot be reclaimed by the seller. By cancelling an entry, the seller accepts that the cancellation is final and binding.
Joining the Waiting List
When registering for the Waiting List, you must provide your name, age, gender, address, county, telephone number and email address. By submitting your registration, you confirm that the information you provide about yourself is accurate. Before submitting your registration, please carefully review and verify that all information provided is correct.
When an entry becomes available through the Waiting List, the next person in line will be notified by email (to the email address provided when registering for the Waiting List) with an offer to purchase the entry at the current applicable price, as stated on the Website when you join the Waiting List. You will also have access to a personal dashboard on the Website where you can view your position in the queue and accept the offer. The offer must be accepted within 72 hours from the time the notification was sent. If you accept the offer within 72 hours, you must complete your registration in accordance with the standard registration procedure and accept the terms and conditions applicable to participation in Göteborgsvarvet at that time. If you decline the offer or fail to accept it within 72 hours, you will lose your place on the Waiting List.
We are not responsible for emails that fail to reach you, for example due to spam filters or an incorrectly provided email address. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can receive emails from us and to regularly monitor your position in the queue and any offers via your personal dashboard on the Website.
Special Information Regarding Seeding – Göteborgsvarvet
If you purchase an entry through the Waiting List, you will only receive an entry to Göteborgsvarvet. The entry does not include any specific starting group or position in the starting field. You are responsible for obtaining a seeded starting group in accordance with the standard seeding rules available on the Website.
3. CONFIRMATION OF WAITING LIST REGISTRATION
Once your registration for the Waiting List has been received and registered by us, you will receive a confirmation sent to the email address you provided.
Please verify that the information in the confirmation of your Waiting List registration is correct. If it is not, please contact us at info@goteborgsvarvet.se.
If you have not received your confirmation of registration for the Waiting List within 24 hours, please contact us at the email address above.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
We reserve the right to transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another party.
We may amend these Terms unilaterally. Any amendments will take effect no earlier than 30 days after the revised Terms have been published on the Website. If we make material changes to these Terms, you have the right to terminate your agreement with us, provided that such termination occurs within 30 days from the date the information regarding the amended Terms was published on our Website.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
