Wheelchair participation in Göteborgsvarvet
We welcome wheelchair participants in Göteborgsvarvet 21 km, Cityvarvet, Specialvarvet, Lilla Varvet, and Varvetmilen.
For wheelchair participation, the following applies:
- The same age requirements apply as for all other participants.
- Participation in competition class is not available.
- Freewheel attachments are allowed.
- Racing wheelchairs are not permitted.
- Joëlette chairs are not permitted in Göteborgsvarvet 21 km or Varvetmilen Göteborg. For other races, please contact the Sustainability Project Manager.
- If you need or wish to have a free guide/assistant, you can apply by email to the Sustainability Project Manager.
- Seeding follows the standard Göteborgsvarvet seeding regulations.
- If you do not have a seeding time, please contact the Sustainability Project Manager for help with start group placement.
- For more information about the course or specific conditions for each race, contact the Sustainability Project Manager.
