The organizations you can choose to run for in Göteborgsvarvet 2026 are presented below:
Charity partner:Göteborgs Stadsmission
Run 21 km so that no child has to grow up in poverty.
Standing on the sidelines because your clothes are too small. Skipping dinner so the children can eat. Not being able to afford diapers. This is the reality for many families in Gothenburg - every single day. You can help make a difference.
Göteborgs Stadsmission works for a more humane society. Every day, we support families with children in vulnerable situations, offering both emergency aid and long-term support. By running for Göteborgs Stadsmission, your race entry can be turned into a fully stocked grocery bag, four packs of diapers, or a backpack filled with sports clothes. Every step you take makes a difference.
Thank you for your contribution - together, we can ensure that more children have the chance to grow up safe, cared for, and warm.
Charity partner:Suicide Zero
Suicide Zero works to prevent suicide by influencing politicians, educating people, and funding essential research on suicide.
Every year, approximately 1,500 suicides occur in Sweden. Among young people aged 15-24, suicide is the leading cause of death. That’s why Suicide Zero focuses on equipping parents, school staff, and sports coaches with the tools and knowledge to have life-saving conversations with the children and young people around them.
Run Göteborgsvarvet with us, and show that every suicide is one too many!
Charity partner:Ung Cancer
Ung Cancer is a non-profit, independent organization with no government funding. The organization provides support to young adults between 16 and 35 who either have cancer themselves or are close to someone affected by cancer.
Ung Cancer is there for its members by offering psychosocial, rehabilitative, and financial support. The organization raises awareness about young adults affected by cancer and their loved ones, working to combat prejudice, reduce fear, and drive change in healthcare and society.
By running the Göteborgsvarvet in support of Ung Cancer, you help ensure that no young adult faces cancer alone.
