Boozt.com continues as the main sponsor of Göteborgsvarvet

Göteborgsvarvet is one of the world’s largest half-marathons. The first race took place in 1980 and on Saturday, May 13 it is time once again. This year Boozt.com will continue as the main sponsor of Göteborgsvarvet.

- We are very excited about our continued collaboration with Göteborgsvarvet and to contribute to the public festivities again this year, says Daniel Meisling Nielsen, Commercial Sponsorship & Partnership Manager at Boozt.

Thousands of runners are preparing to run the 21 kilometres through the streets and squares of Gothenburg on Saturday, May 13.

Just like in 2022, Boozt.com will be the main sponsor for Sweend’s most popular race as it is hosted in Gothenburg for the 42nd time in a row.

- Our partnership with Göteborgsvarvet reflects our ambition to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle. Our partnership is also an opportunity for us to connect and strengthen our relationship with sports-loving customers. We look forward to supporting the strong sense of community that exists among everyone participating in the race, says Daniel Meisling Nielsen, Commercial Sponsorship & Partnership Manager at Boozt.

Besides the main attraction, Göteborgsvarvet, the week will be packed with other events such as; Trailvarvet, Stafettvarvet, Cityvarvet and Lilla Varvet where Boozt.com will also be an event sponsor.

The week of races begins with Trailvarvet on Sunday, May 7 with a run or walk through varied nature and hilly terrain.

The organisers, Göteborg Athletic Association, are pleased that a strong brand like Boozt.com continues to promote well-being and a healthier society by supporting one of the world’s largest half marathons.

- It feels great to be strengthening and extending the collaboration with Boozt.com. They are a fantastic partner that contributes to the public festivities both in our Expo and along the track. Most importantly, we are supporting the sports associations through work with one of the world’s largest half marathons, says Erik Bergkvist event manager at Göteborgsvarvet.
