Göteborgsvarvet 2024 is sold out!
This year’s edition of the popular race has generated significant interest and resulted in an impressive number of participants, reaching the maximum limit of 50,000 runners for the year. The organizers are overwhelmed by the fantastic response and look forward to welcoming all participants to a memorable experience on May 18th.
"It is with great joy we announce that Göteborgsvarvet 2024 is sold out. The immense interest from runners across the country has been really exciting," says Madelene Gimlegård, Brand Experience Manager for Göteborgsvarvet.
The decision to limit the number of participants to 50,000 is part of the organizers' efforts to ensure a high quality of the event and to maintain a good level of service for all participants."According to the flow calculations we have done, we are recommended to stop here to maintain the quality we want to achieve. We will certainly take this year's outcome into consideration in the planning for 2025, hopefully we can offer even more runners to join us then," says Madelene Gimlegård.
For those who did not manage to secure an entry in this year's Göteborgsvarvet, it is recommended to keep an eye on next year's event and registration openings. The organizers are already planning for Göteborgsvarvet 2025 and hope to be able to offer even more runners the opportunity to participate next year.
There is still one last chance to participate this year. The Cityvarvet race, a shorter version of Göteborgsvarvet, starts at Götaplatsen and finishes after 4.3 km with the same grand finish line as Göteborgsvarvet.
