The Waiting List for Göteborgsvarvet 2027 Opens on 22 June
Did you miss out on a spot in Göteborgsvarvet 2027? On 22 June at 10:00 AM, the waiting list opens for those who are still hoping to stand on the starting line when the world’s largest half marathon takes place next spring.
The interest in Göteborgsvarvet is greater than ever, and all entries sold out in record time, just three days after registration opened. By joining the event’s waiting list, participants have the opportunity to take over a race entry if a registered runner chooses to cancel their participation. The waiting list operates on a first-come, first-served basis. When an entry becomes available through a cancelled registration, an offer will be sent to the person who has been on the waiting list the longest. The recipient will then have three days to complete their registration before the place is offered to the next person in line. Joining the waiting list is free of charge and does not guarantee a race entry. However, it provides a fair opportunity to take over a place from another runner who has chosen to withdraw from the event.

- Registration for the waiting list is free of charge.
- Places are offered in the order that waiting list registrations are received.
- You will receive an email when a place becomes available.
- If you decline the offer or do not complete your registration within the specified time, you will lose your place on the waiting list and the offer will be passed on to the next person in line.
