The medal for 2022!
We can now present what medal that is waiting for you after 21 km in May next year. Nearly 5,000 runners voted on their favorite.
After a close top battle, we can now present the winning medel of 2022 "Gothenburg is the city that celebrates every step you take!" produced by the artist Malin Viktorsson. The voting took place between 11 - 19 October where a total of 4707 runners participated, the winning medal received 1596 votes.
Malin herself describes the idea behind her winning contribution with:
"I want to capture the feeling of a city that is completely vibrating and bubbling with joy. A city that is full of people who can finally meet and be crowded again. An audience that stands close, side by side cheering all the runners.. The pulsating feeling, the energy that is created when the whole city celebrates. Go, go, go all runners, fight-fight-fight. Gothenburg is the city that celebrates every step you take! "
